- Case content: timeline names, event dates, notes, photos, and videos you upload.
- Waitlist: name and email if you join our pre-launch waitlist on this website.
- Usage data: basic diagnostics and crash logs to keep the service reliable.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve ProofKit.
- Authenticate you and sync your cases across devices.
- Send service-related emails (e.g. waitlist confirmation, collaboration invites).
- Process subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play.
Storage and security
Data is stored using Google Firebase (cloud infrastructure). We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No system is 100% secure; use a strong password and keep your device secure.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. You may invite collaborators to specific cases; they can see content you share with them. We use subprocessors (e.g. Firebase, Mailgun for transactional email) to operate the service.
Your choices
- Access or update account information in the app.
- Delete cases you own.
- Request account deletion by contacting us.
Children
ProofKit is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
