By using ProofKit (website or app), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
ProofKit provides tools to create dated timelines, attach media (photos, video, audio, and documents), export records, search cases and events, and collaborate on cases. We do not provide legal advice. ProofKit organizes information; it does not guarantee any outcome in insurance, employment, or legal proceedings.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload content and for its accuracy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ProofKit for unlawful harassment, fraud, or impersonation.
- Upload malware or attempt to breach our systems.
- Share access with parties not authorized under your subscription or case permissions.
Subscriptions
ProofKit offers a free plan and a paid ProofKit Plus plan. The free plan includes 2 cases and 1 GB of storage. ProofKit Plus is billed at $4.99/month through the Apple App Store (iOS). Plus includes unlimited cases and 25 GB of storage. Android subscriptions are not yet available.
Refunds and billing disputes follow Apple App Store policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Availability
We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProofKit is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data beyond our reasonable control. Back up important exports locally.
Termination
You may stop using ProofKit at any time. You may delete your account in the app at Profile → Subscription → Delete Account (password required). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
If your Plus subscription ends, your two oldest cases remain active. Additional cases are archived in read-only mode for 30 days, then permanently deleted unless you resubscribe. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
