Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
By using ProofKit (website or app), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
ProofKit provides tools to create dated timelines, attach media, export records, and collaborate on cases. We do not provide legal advice. ProofKit organizes information; it does not guarantee any outcome in insurance, employment, or legal proceedings.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload content and for its accuracy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ProofKit for unlawful harassment, fraud, or impersonation.
- Upload malware or attempt to breach our systems.
- Share access with parties not authorized under your subscription or case permissions.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds follow store policies. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Plan limits (cases, storage) are described in the app.
Availability
We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProofKit is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data beyond our reasonable control. Back up important exports locally.
Termination
You may stop using ProofKit at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Data retention after cancellation is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
